What is a Civil War reenactment?
A Civil War reenactment is a living history event where participants recreate the life, equipment, and battles of soldiers and civilians from 1861–1865. It’s both educational and entertaining for all ages.
Is this event family-friendly?
Yes! Our events are family-friendly and great for kids, students, and history lovers.
Is there an admission fee?
Admission details will be posted with the event. Some events are free, while others may have a small entry fee to help cover costs.
Will there be food available?
Yes! We have food vendors on site, offering a variety of options for attendees.
Should I bring anything?
We recommend you bring:

Are pets allowed?
No dogs or pets allowed Due to loud gunfire and cannon noise, it can be unsafe and stressful for animals.
Will there be loud noises?
Yes. There will be musket and cannon fire during demonstrations and battle reenactments. These are controlled and safe, but can be loud.
What time are the battles?
Battle times will be listed in the event schedule. We recommend arriving early to get a good viewing spot.
Can we walk through the camps?
Yes! Visitors are encouraged to explore the camps and talk with reenactors, but please: Be respectful. Ask before touching items. Follow posted guidelines
Can I take pictures?
Absolutely! Photos are encouraged, our participants love sharing history.
Is parking available?
Yes, designated parking areas will be available. Please follow signs and staff directions.
Is the event accessible?
We do our best to accommodate all visitors, but keep in mind:

What should I wear?
Dress for the weather! Comfortable shoes are recommended since most events are outdoors.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, but please help us support our vendors if you can.

Events are typically rain or shine, so come prepared!
